We stand at the side of the United States of America in mourning and so to, in a short while, we will stand at the side of the United States of America in upholding justice.

As a patriotic Australian I call on my Australian Government to stand as one with the United States of America.
I also call on the Australian Government to DECLARE WAR !
I am ready to serve under an Australian Flag.
I have sent the following email to the US President, US Congress and US leading Media.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the USA,
I want to express my deep grief over these terrorist acts.
I also want to express my FULL support for the American people, our brothers and sisters, at this dark hour.
America and Australia are like two brothers. In many ways we look up to the USA as our big brother and it shocks us, and grieves us deeply and makes us angry as hell that anyone would seek to harm you.
I trust that the Australian Government, my Government, will do everything humanly possible to assist you. I trust that we Australians will stand shoulder to shoulder with you even if this means war.
Speaking for myself and as a patriotic Australian I wish to state that you have my full support. I share your grief and weep with you and with you I also share your anger and outrage and with you I will stand to uphold our democratic freedoms.
May God Bless America our brothers and sisters. We stand like a brother by your side.

Your webpage is wonderful. One little extra bit of info Alan Beaven was a New Zealander. An Auckland boy. Grew up on the North Shore and went to Westlake Boys High School then to Auckland University.
I
had fallen asleep watching TV that night and was woken at 1am our time by what I thought was a movie. To my horror I realised it was real. It is a night I will never ever forget. I watched the first tower to fall and from that moment on I knew that the free world had been changed forever. Those pictures, those sounds are ingrained in my memory forever.
I hold out for the day when justice is finally served.
God bless the free world and God bless America! Don't let the terrorists win- get your life, your sanity, and your right to feel safe in your own home back again.

To all the Families and Friends that were lost,
I feel that this email is somewhat of small importance considering the pain and heartache that you all have endured during these last few months, but with the same token I must say that even though I am a million miles away from you all, my prayers are with you.
I didn't know anyone personally at the wtc but I know that they belonged to someone special and I hope that you all find the strength to carry on.
